2025 American Mock Trial Association - New Orleans Regional Tournament

This event is a regional tournament to be hosted here in New Orleans, by Tulane Mock Trial. Nationally, undergraduate mock trial competitions are run by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA, whose website you can find here). This year, Tulane Mock Trial has been chosen to host an AMTA Regional Competition in New Orleans at the Hale Boggs Federal Building from February 15 to 16, 2025 through a competitive bid process. Roughly twenty-one teams from thirteen schools across the country will be in attendance, including one of our own, as well as students from one of Professor Sanda Groome's classes (LGST4210 & LGST4220). Our students have been working hard to organize this event by recruiting potential sponsors for the event, as well as judges in the local community. Additionally, our students have gotten permission to host this event at the courthouse for the Eastern District of Louisiana, an invaluable experience for their legal education. This event will not require RSO funding, as the American Mock Trial Association will be paying for tournament-related costs.
