7th International Short Film Festival (Fall 2026)

The Language Learning Center and Tulane Libraries are proud to present the 7th International Short Film Festival, an evening celebrating short-form cinema from around the world. This year's program brings together filmmakers whose work explores movement, displacement, and belonging, telling stories of people navigating moments of historical transition, political uncertainty, and personal resilience.

The festival highlights the unique power of the short film format to distill complex human experiences into intimate, powerful narratives. Selections span multiple countries and languages, reflecting a shared commitment to global perspectives, language learning, and cross-cultural dialogue.
