AI Beyond ChatGPT

ChatGPT has such a dominant position in the minds of most people that it more or less = AI to them. In a recent survey of Tulane students, almost all were familiar with it while very few were familiar with other major AI tools. This workshop hosted by Knud Berthelsen, Professor of Practice at the Connolly Alexander Institute for Data Science (CAIDS), discusses and demonstrates the most important tools beyond ChatGPT: Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM, and Perplexity. All of them are better than chat GPT at one or more important AI tasks. Participants will learn which tools to use for which types of Al tasks, and how. Registration encouraged but not required.
