AI Tools for Adminstration: Practical Tools for Staff

This 90-minute hands-on workshop introduces university administrative staff to fundamental AI principles, key AI tools, and best practices for prompting. Through demonstrations and hands-on exercises, participants gain practical experience applying AI to administrative tasks such as analyzing and optimizing reports, proposals, and presentations, as well as creating new documents based on existing information, formats, and templates. The workshop requires no prior AI knowledge and aims to equip participants with skills to craft effective, personalized prompts for accurate and valuable AI outputs. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to effectively integrate the use of AI tools into their administrative work.
