Dr. Lisa Wade is the creator of the award-winning website, Sociological Images and author of the book, American Hookup: The New Culture of Sex on Campus. Dr. Wade research includes collegiate hookup culture within the history of sexuality, the evolution of higher education, and the unfinished feminist revolution. She is also the author of the bestselling textbook Gender: Ideas, Interactions, Institutions, with Myra Marx Ferree, and the co-editor of Assigned, a book about life with gender. At this event she will be speaking about her book, research, website, and more! This event will be a partnership with Feminist Alliance of Students at Tulane (FAST).
