ALAAEMA Alliance Faculty and Staff End of the Year Celebration - In-Person Event

Uptown Campus

We invite you to join us in our end-of-the-academic-year ALAAMEA celebration on our uptown campus on May 13th (Thursday) from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm on the Gibson Quad!

We will have food and drinks provided, and the goal is to have some in-person time with one another in an outdoor setting where we follow all on-campus COVID-19 protocols of masking and physical distancing. We hope you can join us so we can spend time with new and old friends and colleagues and remember how we have grown and changed over the past year during multiple pandemics.

RSVP in advance for this meeting here.

FYI - we will alternate our in-person gatherings in the future across our downtown and northshore campuses.

Organizers: Anneliese Singh and Carolyn Barber-Pierre

ALAAMEA was originally formed in 2015 to "provide strategic advocacy to Asian, Latino, African American, Multi-Ethnic, and LGBTIQ faculty and staff," while also serving as a space for allies to these communities at Tulane. Although the ALAAMEA umbrella has expanded to include multiple other faculty and staff affinity groups, we retain the ALAAMEA name to honor and recognize the early ALAAMEA faculty and staff founders, leaders, and members who championed equity and justice work across our university.
