ALAAMEA Alliance Faculty and Staff Gathering: Challenging the Intersections of Patriarchy and Systemic Racism and in Our Community

March 26, 2021 12:00 - 1:00 pm CDT

We invite you to join us in a the next ALAAMEA gathering where we explore how we can center and uplift our community members who identify as women, nonbinary, and/or BIPOC. We listen to BIPOC women and nonbinary people and have active responses by white and masculine-identified folx to dream-build a Tulane where we challenge the interlocking oppressions of patriarchy and racism. We end with a call for leadership within ALAAMEA and an invitation to plan our end-of-spring ALAAMEA gathering.

Panelists: Sienna Abdulahad, Gabe Christian-Sola, Petey Peterson, Robert Westley, and Ray Proctor Moderators: Carolyn Barber-Pierre and Anneliese Singh
