ALCSI x LUNGevity Event

Tulane ALCSI, in partnership with LUNGevity, seeks to host the Breathe Deep event, a nationally recognized initiative to raise awareness about lung cancer screening and early detection. Scheduled for November 17, 2024, the event will take place in front of 1555 Poydras Street to coincide with a large crowd expected for a major Saints game. This provides an ideal opportunity to engage the public and promote lung health. Dr. Mark Sides, a thoracic oncologist at Tulane, will join us to connect New Orleans residents at risk for lung cancer with screening resources available through Tulane's facilities. Our goal is to educate the community on the importance of early detection and offer pathways to accessible screening.
