In the Archives: Discovering New Orleans through Primary Sources

This hands-on introduction to archives features original materials from the Hogan Archive of New Orleans Music and New Orleans Jazz, one of the collecting areas of Tulane University Special Collections. Learn what archives are, how to use primary source materials for research and exploration, and how archival collections help document the history and culture of New Orleans. Melissa A. Weber, curator of the Hogan Archive, will lead the workshop.

Open to the Tulane University community and the general public. Students are especially encouraged to attend.
