Dr. Myriam Huet, Assistant Vice President for Research Excellence and Opportunity, Office of Research

 

This session focuses on best practices for mentoring within the world of research. Panelists Drs. Heddwen Brooks and Chris Rodning—two senior faculty and researchers—will share their experience as mentors to students, faculty, and/or research staff within their respective research disciplines. They will discuss key aspects of effective mentorship, that is, mentorship centered on supporting mentees and helping them thrive as students, researchers, scientists, and professionals. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome.
