Bogalusa Heart Study 50th Anniversary/ i3C Consortium Meeting

This landmark event will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Bogalusa Heart Study(BHS) and will pay tribute to half a century of groundbreaking research in cardiovascular health and community well-being. The event will take place at Tulane University in New Orleans and the BHS Clinic in Bogalusa, Louisiana.   

Distinguished speakers, many of whom have dedicated decades to the study, as well as i3C Consortium collaborators, will walk through the history of this pioneering research initiative. Their insights and experiences will shed light on the study's profound impact on our understanding of heart health and its role in shaping public health. 

In addition to honoring past accomplishments, this event will look toward the future. A highlight of the celebration will be a showcase of current research, with student poster presentations providing a glimpse into what the next 50 years of cardiovascular research may hold.
