Dr. Karen Myers is a post-secondary ability professional, who specializes in disability education, student development, and Universal Design. She will give an in depth review of how disabilities affect both the student and instructor, best practices for addressing these opportunities from an instructor's perspective, and how leveraging Universal Design can ease or eliminate the need for specific accommodations in the classroom.
