Child-Friendly City Studio Opening

Other

Featuring Playbuild NOLA

Children will be disproportionately impacted by the decisions made today regarding climate change, transportation, safety, economic opportunity, and public health. However, urban planning has not traditionally prioritized children’s needs.

Join us for the opening of Child-Friendly City Studio – an interactive exhibit showcasing New Orleans’ child-friendly planning initiative – a collaborative effort of PlayBuild NOLA, the New Orleans Mayor’s Office of Youth and Families, global design and engineering firm Arup, and Tulane University’s School of Architecture.

Materials will be on display at the Taylor Center’s Warehouse District space from February 14th – March 15th with invitations for visitors to give comments and feedback. Join us for an opening reception February 13th, 6:00-8:00pm.
