Gerry is bringing two of his staff members and fellow Tulane Alumni Lauren Frantz (B'21) and Nicole Rieu (B'17). Gerry Keefe (A&S ‘93) is head of Global Banking in the Americas region and global head of Structured Finance within HSBC. In this role, he oversees the bank’s corporate and investment banking and capital markets activities across corporate and financial institution clients, private equity, asset managers, multinationals, private investors and public sector clients. Prior to joining HSBC in 2021, Gerry had a 14-year career at Citi, including seven years in the Asia-Pacific region with responsibility for the region’s corporate banking efforts across 16 markets and Japan. Prior to moving to Asia, Gerry was in Capital Markets Origination leading the bank’s Global Securitized Products business. In his last role at Citi he was responsible for the bank’s global client coverage effort for the Treasury and Trade Solutions business. Gerry earned an BA from Tulane University in 1993 and a JD from George Washington University School of Law in 1998.
