April 07, 2022 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Uptown CampusThursday 4/7, 11am-12:30pm
Facilitator: Tom Chapel, Guest Researcher/Senior Evaluation Fellow at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and CDC Foundation
This workshop will provide a hands-on overview of key concepts and tools related to Monitoring and Evaluation, using CDC’s Framework for Program Evaluation, a well-known applied approach that is particularly useful with community-based projects. The Framework is built on engaging project stakeholders from the start, creating a simple program roadmap/logic model as the basis for making decisions about M&E focus. As a result, planning, implementation, and evaluation are integrated from the start, and the likelihood that evaluation results will be used for continuous program improvement is enhanced. Follow-up trainings and individual project consults may be available as needed.
