The seldom heard music of Ernest Chausson is featured on this program, with a rendition of his heartbreaking Chanson Perpétuelle (“Endless Song”) and his sprawling, ecstatic masterpiece, the Concerto for Violin, Piano, and String Quartet, along with additional selections of Robert Schumann, Richard Strauss, and Samuel Barber.  The warm, majestic acoustic of Dixon Concert Hall at Tulane University will be home to an evening of glorious music making!

CCCMF Artistic Director Luke Fleming gives an informal Pre-Concert Talk and Q&A at 7 PM.
