The Minority Association of Pre-Med Students (MAPS) is an organization dedicated to preparing underrepresented pre-medical students for medical school while simultaneously giving back to the community. We are fundraising for Freestanding Communities at Dat Dog for a percentage night where all proceeds will go toward providing free medical care to underserved communities in the New Orleans and Greater New Orleans area. Freestanding Communities is a transformative, all-volunteer, Community-Based Health Outreach Organization established in New Orleans, Louisiana as a bridge to care for underserved members of the community. MAPS is joining Freestanding Communities’s mission of empowering communities at its roots in order to shape the healthy environments we want and deserve to live in.

Join MAPS November 29th anytime from 5-8 PM at Dat Dog on Freret St. to further foster a healthy community! When ordering, don’t forget to say MAPS!!!
