Uptown CampusTulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine is excited to launch the Dean's Leaders & Lagniappe Lecture Series beginning in Fall 2023. Join our host Dean Thomas LaVeist each month as he speaks with visiting deans from schools of public health from around the nation in a lecture series held at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana, and virtually.
The Dean's Leaders & Lagniappe Lecture Series is a chance to expand our learning and networks, to hear from distinguished leaders in the field, and to further broaden our definition of public health.
In September we will welcome Dr. Ashish Joshi, dean of the University of Memphis School of Public Health. Dr. Joshi has an exciting background in combining data-driven innovative entrepreneurial approaches to advance excellence in public health education and research to address public health challenges in the community.
Lagniappe after this lecture will feature local artists and the art exhibit "Feels like 120 Degrees", which will be on exhibition in the Diboll Gallery from September 8 - 23.
There will be light refreshments served.
