Dialogues on Difference: Anti-Blackness and Colorism

Uptown Campus
The Race Room, 2nd floor of the Lavin-Bernick Center

Dialogues on Difference is a monthly workshop series facilitated by Community Engagement Advocates, focusing on issues of power, identity, and privilege. This workshop will look at the ways that Anti-Blackness shows up as both a product of White Supremacy ideology as well as a manifestation of internalized and horizontal oppression. We will also look at the ways that Colorism relates to systemic racism and other forms of oppression.
