Doctoral Dialogues: End-of-Year Listening Session illustration

Join the Public Health Doctoral Students (PHDS) for an end-of-year Doctoral Dialogues Listening Session, a dedicated space to share experiences, voice concerns, and connect with fellow doctoral students and faculty.

This session offers an open, supportive environment to reflect on the semester, discuss challenges and successes, and help shape future programming and advocacy efforts for doctoral students within the Weatherhead School of Public Health.

When: Wednesday, December 3rd at 5:00 PM CST
Where: Via Zoom

Some guiding questions for our discussion include (but are not limited to):

  1. What is the greatest challenge or obstacle you’re facing right now as a doctoral student?

  2. What additional support from the institution or program would better promote your academic or personal success?

  3. Are there existing services or programs that could be improved or better tailored for doctoral students?

  4. What kinds of workshops, events, or discussions would you find most valuable next semester?

  5. Do you have any additional thoughts, ideas, or feedback you’d like to share?

Come ready to share, listen, and be part of the ongoing dialogue to strengthen our doctoral community.
