Join Tulane Campus Health and SAPHE on Monday, February 10th, in the Diboll Gallery to discuss reclaiming pleasure after sexual violence in a small workshop setting. This workshop will be a small group setting.
Embodiment of Pleasure Post-Trauma Workshop: The devastation of sexual trauma is difficult to overcome. Survivors often say they don’t overcome, they actually learn to live in spite of. However, the work many do to survive usually stops short of the work needed to thrive sexually. At this workshop, Davondra Brown will lead a discussion on the role embodiment plays in creating healthy relationships both with a partner and with self. And how a deeper sense of sexual-self fosters better interactions every day.
