This panel focuses on developments in litigations addressing environmental justice in Louisiana’s Cancer Alley, including recent representation by the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic. This panel will also discuss the federal environmental regulations that have failed to protect the people residing in “Cancer Alley”, focusing on Title V of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Clean Air Act.
