Uptown CampusEquity Thursdays is a weekly conversation and lunch series hosted by the Center for Academic Equity (provided free of charge)! We offer workshops, presentations, and discussions led by members of the Tulane community and guests from the GNO. Join us as we discuss cutting edge research, connect to distinctive academic opportunities, and provide a forum for reflection on the intersection of identity and the academic experience. We welcome students, faculty, and staff to come to Equity Thursdays and join the CAE community!
Join us this Thursday for a facilitated discussion about Deconstructing AAPI Hate and moving forward with meeting the needs of AAPI community members. Dr. Irang Kim, Tulane School of Social Work Professor will discuss a range of topics between xenophobia, unlearning AAPI racism, mental health, and survey of AAPI hate crimes.
