Ethics Bowl Exhibition - Tulane vs LSU

On September 25, The Tulane Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl team will host and compete against from the team visiting from Baton Rouge neighbors, LSU. This event is open to all interested students and faculty. 

Launched by the Center for Ethics (CE) in 2023, Tulane University’s Ethics Bowl Program (TUEB) is a high school and college competition where teams tackle difficult ethical issues in a competitive setting. Students are coached to view matches as exchanges between equals, engaging in deep conversations about tough moral issues. 

Unlike traditional debates, Ethics Bowl encourages a collaborative format where teams consider complex issues and defend a position they believe to be reasonable. The program promotes respectful, supportive, and rigorous discussions centered around cases relevant to our time. 

Tulane’s Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl Team is comprised of curious and engaged students who participate in scrimmages and contests to explore contemporary issues in practical and professional ethics. These activities prepare the team for the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl®’s regional competitions.
