Fall 2024 Hullabaloo Hello Facilities Requests
Various Tulane-branded banners displayed throughout campus: across McAlister Way, on McAlister Auditorium,on Devlin Fieldhouse, and on Gibson Hall. Installation needed by Friday, August 9th. Please make sure the banner grommets fit the existing holes in the building facades. Remove by Wednesday, August 21st.
6 large a-frames positioned throughout campus: behind Gibson Hall (on Academic Quad), outside of Boggs Hall (near plants/water fountain), outside of Devlin Fieldhouse (near Freret Street), Pocket Park (on the sidewalk), outside of The Commons (on the edge of Berger Family Lawn), somewhere near Brown Field (possibly outside of Aron or DeLa residence halls). We've received approval from Richard Dempsey in Athletics to utilize the a-frames. Installation needed by Friday, August 9th. Return by Wednesday, August 21st. Please be sure to return them to the area behind the endzone of the stadium – FYE will remove the maps from the frames prior to then.
FYE will inflate the arches on the three move-in dates (August 11th, 12th, and 13th) and during the block party (August 18th). Arches will be located on either end of McAlister Way – one by the grassy stage and the other between Devlin Fieldhouse and ROTC building. Power for arches will be needed on the morning of each of these dates by 7:45am. FYE will deflate arches by the end of the day and remove them from the walkway. Night electrician can turn off the power after 6pm.
LED Screen can be positioned outside of McAlister Auditorium (if you're facing McAlister Auditorium, to the left by the benches closest to Berger Family Lawn). LED Screen will be needed every day of Hullabaloo Hello and can remain in this position throughout the week. Is it possible to have LED Screen in place by Friday, August 9th? We would love to train our student leaders how to use it.
Water Monster can be positioned on the grassy stage, either on the left or right side. We will have a streetcar photo op installation positioned in the center of the grassy stage.
We will need the McAlister Way bollards to go down on the following dates: Thursday, August 15th by 7:30am (for French Truck) and Sunday, August 18th by 2:30pm (for Café du Monde).
House floats will be installed over the course of two days: Thursday, August 8th and Friday, August 9th. There are five house float installations in total in the following locations: grassy stage, outside McAlister Auditorium, LBC Pedersen Lobby entrance, Cudd Hall, and Mussafer Hall. All house floats will be removed on Tuesday, August 20th.
LBC decals will be installed on Monday, August 5th and removed on Friday, August 23rd.
