After the first week of classes we know students may have a million thoughts running through their minds about whether they are truly ready for college, how they are going to organize their schedules, maintain a social life, and have fun. We offer our Fall Multicultural Leadership Retreat to allow students a chance to reflect on the first week and begin planning their Tulane Journey. During this retreat you will have time to engage with professional staff facilitators about campus involvement, culturally competent leadership, spirituality, identity development, organization, and self-care. You will connect with upper class student leaders who can give advice and share best practices for success at Tulane. You will also design initiatives and take an active role in building a strong social network and community with other new students. Not only do students who attend our leadership retreat feel more prepared to navigate campus, they are more likely to identify potential barriers to success and seek resources to accomplish their goals.
