Firearm Safety Event - Free Safe Storage & Information

Increasing awareness of & access to safe firearm storage is an important means of preventing the leading cause of death for young people under the age of 18 in Louisiana - gun violence.

This firearm safety event provides free lockboxes & information in an effort to reduce youth exposure to gun violence in their homes & communities.

Presented by Tulane's Violence Prevention Institute, New Orleans Health Department, & Children's Hospital, this event is open to the public & no sign-up is required.
