French Dual Language Immersion Summer Institute Day 1

A Workshop for Experienced and New French DLI Teachers The Albertine Foundation in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States and Tulane University are organizing a 4-day workshop offered in French, specifically designed to meet the needs of French Dual Language Immersion teachers, new and already trained!

The workshop has three main objectives:

1. Empowering new teachers who are starting or joining a French DLI program, and training future Leaders and Coaches.

2. Presenting new techniques, resources, and ideas to already established teachers.

3. Building beyond a K-6 program.

Throughout the workshop, participants will work on curriculum development (elementary, secondary and beyond). Resources and curricula will be shared throughout the institute and teachers will develop lesson plans to help open and sustain their programs.

Workshop presenters will come from across the United States, showcasing their experience in a variety of contexts and with a range of model types.
