Uptown CampusThe French Department annual pétanque game will be held, as part of the French Week, on Wednesday, November 3rd.
The pétanque is a traditional boules game from Provence, played by throwing or rolling boules closer to a small target ball called the ‘cochonnet’ (literally piglet)—usually while taking ‘l’apéro’ (a friendly drinks and snacks collation).
Come throw some boules, and have a French (non-alcoholic) drink with us on Wednesday 11/3, anytime from 12:30 to 2pm at the Berger Family Lawn (LBC) Quad!
