“Unraveling the gender double-bind: Empowering women to take charge at work”

Anyi Ma is an Assistant Professor of Management in the Department of Management at the A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University. She received her Ph.D. from Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. Dr. Ma’s research has been published in leading academic journals such as Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, Leadership Quarterly and has been featured in popular press outlets, such as Harvard Business Review and The Atlantic. In her spare time, she likes to hang out with her cat and explore the New Orleans culinary and music scene.

Fridays at Newcomb is a free lunch and lecture series featuring speakers across disciplines. Lunch will be distributed at the end of the event for attendees to take to go.
