Fridays at Newcomb: Saul's Light Foundation

Uptown Campus
Newcomb Institute, The Commons, Diboll Gallery

Fridays at Newcomb is a lecture series featuring speakers across disciplines that provides students with the opportunity to learn about subjects outside of their majors. The events are held in the Diboll Gallery at Newcomb Institute, on the third floor of The Commons - lunch is provided and the event is free and open to the public.
Kimberly Novod is an educator, advocate, doula, and the founder of NOLA-based non-profit Saul’s Light Foundation. For the last decade, she has been a high school teacher in New Orleans and Brooklyn. Kimberly has a proven track record of implementing successful programming and extensive experience in the health sector working with underserved communities. Kimberly and her husband Aaron established Saul’s Light in 2015 to ease the financial and emotional burden of having a child in the NICU (or losing a child) for other parents. The Novods are longtime Louisiana residents and are dedicated to supporting parents in New Orleans and beyond.
