Come hear from leaders of the New Orleans Chapter of the Social Medicine Consortium. Virginia Byron, MD and Emily Szklarski, MPH will discuss the urgent health disparities facing residents of Gordon Plaza. This past July the Social Medicine Consortium issued an open letter to Mayor Cantrell expressing their concerns over the health issues plaguing the residents of Gordon Plaza.
