Girls Who Invest offers training and opportunities to further the nonprofit’s goal of increasing the number of women in portfolio management and executive leadership in the asset management industry. Through two tuition-free educational programs open to undergraduate students, the program builds technical and career development skills to position students for successful careers in investment management and beyond.
The two programs (Summer Intensive Program and Online Intensive Program) connect enrollees with partner firms leading to job opportunities in investment management. Girls Who Invest seeks students with the following attributes: research and analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a team-based environment, ability to receive and incorporate feedback into continuous improvement, and intellectual curiosity.
