Global Cafe Fall 2026 Series - IEW’26 Event: Bulbancha Beyond Borders

Long before it was New Orleans, this land was Bulbancha, “the place of many tongues,” a crossroads where Indigenous peoples gathered, traded, and spoke across many languages. As part of International Education Week 2026 and this year’s theme, From Fragments to Futures: Narratives of Displacement and Renewal, we’re honoring that legacy with a special edition of Global Café exploring Indigeneity beyond borders, from local to global. We are proud to co-host this edition of Global Café with Tulane's  Indigenous Students, Helpers, Leaders & Allies (ISHLA).
