Green Club Crafting Day: "Plarn" Making

We've invited local expert Wayne Abadie to come to teach us how to make "plarn," which stands for plastic yarn. We will recycle old shopping bags into plastic yarn, and use the yarn to crochet sleeping mats for the homeless. When the mats are complete, they will be given to St. Marks Church for distribution to the public. Participation is open to all students and no crafting experience is necessary. Everyone is encouraged to bring all of their old plastic grocery bags!
