Hutchinson 7th Floor Ribbon Cutting
The Hutchinson Building Level 7 renovation is a full-floor reimagining of research labs, offices, and lab-support space for the Tulane University School of Medicine. Together with the recently opened fifth-floor lab space, the $35 million Hutchinson project represents the university’s most significant renovation in nearly a century, modernizing approximately 50,000 total square feet (approximately the same size as Paul Hall on the uptown campus) and reflecting Tulane’s continued commitment to creating a thriving biomedical research district in the heart of the city. The program will consist of brief remarks and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a short tour of the seventh-floor laboratories. Refreshments will be served in the new seventh-floor lounge.
