The IN·clued program is an evidence-based sexual health education program designed to reduce unintended pregnancies and/or sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer and questioning (LGBTQ) young people, ages 14 to 19, across the United States. It uplifts the voices of LGBTQ youth and takes a systems change approach to education by providing referrals to appropriate clinical services as well as LGBTQ-centered sex education.

The Center for Youth Equity in the Violence Prevention Institute at Tulane University along with NOLAHype and the Institute of Women & Ethnic Studies are pleased to offer IN·clued in New Orleans on April 23 and 25 as part of National Youth Violence Prevention Week. The training is free and open to individuals ages 14 to 19 in the New Orleans area.

IN·clued participants will receive a 3-hour training (separated into two parts) by facilitators with knowledge in sexual health, including safer sex practices, communications, and how to advocate in a health care setting.

Location: Big Couch - 1045 Desire Street, New Orleans, LA 70117
