Intentional Listening with Kyle DeCoste & Ellis Joseph: A Listening and Discussion of "Made It Through that Water"

Join musician and executive producer Ellis Joseph and creative producer Kyle DeCoste for a special listening and discussion of the summer 2025 re-release album Made it Through that Water  by Free Agents Brass Band. New Orleans brass bands have long been a part of the sonic landscape, "guiding communities through their neighborhoods..." stopping at places of communal importance - local watering hold, the headquarters of other social aid and pleasure clubs, the homes of ancestors or community elders." The album Made it Through that Water, as the liner notes so beautifully put it, "is the sound of the city coming back together" in a post-Katrina world.
