Jaunt to Mardi Gras World
Join The Jaunt Series for an exciting trip to Mardi Gras World on February 16 for a behind-the-scenes tour into the magic that happens each year for Mardi Gras. We will also be participating in Mardi Gras Mask making at Mardi Gras World! Lunch will not be provided. Transportation to/from the event will be provided as a shuttle from Tulane University Uptown campus.
Mardi Gras world was created in 1984 as a tourist attraction to provide visitors a behind-the-scenes look of our work. Widely successful, the attraction draws hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world each year.
NOTE: THIS EVENT IS OPEN AND FREE TO CURRENT TULANE STUDENTS ONLY. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO ATTEND THIS EVENT. PLEASE RSVP BY FEBRUARY 7!
To secure your spot, use the RSVP feature on the Wavesync event. If all spots fill up, the waitlist feature is available. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee your spot on the JAUNT so please monitor your email. Once you RSVP, you will be notified via email by Kalil Mosquera and you must respond with your confirmation that you will attend the event in order to guarantee your spot on the JAUNT.
What to bring: Tulane ID, comfortable walking shoes for the tour
What not to bring: Backpacks, food and/or drinks
