Rabbi Dr Raphael Zarum, Dean of London School of Jewish Studies (LSJS) and the Rabbi Sacks Chair of Modern Jewish Thought, will speak on the topic:

"Why did God tell Abraham to sacrifice his son? The surprising truth about the Akeidah"

At LSJS, Rabbi Dr Zarum lectures in Jewish education and creative readings of classical texts, and trains teachers, educators and rabbis. He has rabbinic ordination from the Montefiore Kollel, a PhD in Theoretical Physics from King’s College London, an MA in Adult Education from University College London, and is a graduate of the Mandel School in Jerusalem. Rabbi Dr Zarum is a dynamic and inspiring thinker. He regularly writes for the Jewish press and academic journals, and lectures at diverse institutions around the globe.
