Louisiana Sexual Assault Student Activist Conference

Uptown Campus
Xavier University

Cohosted this year by the Newcomb College Institute and the Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault, this conference aims to empower and educate student activists to improve the response to and prevention of sexual assault on their college campuses. In doing so, this conference will work on both the individual and group levels by providing students with collaborative tools to combat sexual violence in their campus communities and by addressing the intersectionality of sexual violence to embrace individual experiences in activism.

Students, college staff and faculty, and other allied professionals are welcome to attend and learn more about the dynamics of campus sexual assault and how to better engage in sexual assault advocacy.

Registration and more information: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/louisiana-sexual-assault-student-activist-conference-tickets-53396862453

The conference will be held at Xavier University, and there will be transportation provided to and from Tulane.
