Lunch & Learn – National Disability Employment Awareness Month
In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Office of Research Academic Excellence & Opportunity (AEO) Committee and the ALAAMEA Affinity Network, in collaboration with the Connolly Alexander Institute for Data Science (CAIDS) and the Tulane Goldman Center for Student Accessibility, invite Tulane faculty and staff to a Lunch & Learn focused on workplace rights, accommodations, and employee resources. Campus partners will share practical information on workplace accommodations, short-term disability and FMLA, workers’ compensation, and other available support to help faculty and staff better understand and navigate these resources. The event will be held Monday, October 5, from 12:00–1:30 PM in Diboll Gallery at Newcomb Institute, with a Zoom option available. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
