This one-hour, family-friendly production of Tchaikovsky’s timeless tale blends tradition with innovation to create an unforgettable holiday experience—perfect for all ages. 

This isn’t your typical Nutcracker. With over 100 performers ranging in age from 6 to 70+, New Orleans Ballet Association’s unique intergenerational cast breathes new life into the beloved story.  All roles are performed by participants from NOBA’s Center for Dance (CFD)—a nationally renowned, award-winning program in partnership with NORD and community organizations that has been inspiring the community for over three decades.
