Join the Office of EDI, The Carolyn Barber-Pierre Center for Intercultural Life, OMA, and the Spring is King Planning Committee for the first Tulane Screening of "The New Orleans Legacy Project (A Movement & A Film)."

This landmark docuseries, created by New Orleans native and multimedia activist Diedra "Deepa Soul" Meredith in collaboration with The Historic New Orleans Collection chronicles the compelling oral histories of The New Orleans Four (Gail Etienne, Ruby Bridges, Leona Tate, and the late Tessie Prevost-Williams) alongside the Freedom Fighters of the New Orleans and Louisiana Resistance Movement. Their voices, which shaped a transformative era in American history, offer critical wisdom for current events taking place in America today.

Director Diedra Meredith will be there to screen the film and answer all questions after the fact.

There will be a reception to follow.
