NOMA Conference 2024

NOMAS Tulane will be taking a cohort of studies to the annual NOMA Conference. This five-day conference will be hosted in Baltimore, MD, and will provide students the opportunity to learn architecture as a profession, connect with other students and professionals across the country, and empower minority students to advocate for equity in the design field. NOMAS Tulane will also be sending a team of students to participate in the Barbara G. Laurie Student Design Competition, a design competition in which students are challenged to design a sustainable, community-owned, mixed-use development entitled the ‘Black Cultural Zone Resilience Co-Hub’, with an emphasis on net-positive design strategies and a culturally responsive development.
