Order of the Engineers Cerermony
The Order of the Engineer ceremony is a meaningful tradition that recognizes the transition from student to professional engineer and the responsibilities that come with it.
During the ceremony, participants take the Obligation of an Engineer, a public commitment to uphold integrity, responsibility, and the ethical standards of the profession. Each inductee receives the Engineer’s Ring, worn on the working hand as a lasting reminder of that commitment.
This event offers an opportunity for the community to come together in support of the next generation of engineers as they step into roles that shape and serve society.
Friends, family, faculty, and guests are welcome to attend. A reception with light refreshments will follow in the Paul Hall lobby.
Seniors in Biomedical Engineering, Physics and Engineering Physics, and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering are eligible to participate. You have received an email with instructions.
