Pathway to Computational Biology

Dean Lee is a Senior Expert of Data Science at Novartis, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies with market capitalization of $263.25 billion.

He will talk about his journey to computational biology as well as introducing publicly available resources to learn the skills needed for job market. 

Prior joining Novartis, he received BS of neuroscience from UCLA, MS of neuroscience from Harvard and MS of statistics from Penn State. He has been passionate about mentoring the new generation of computationally savvy scientists. He was an Undergraduate Advisor at Harvard and founded Figure One Lab.
