Physician Speaker Series - Dr. Jessica Shank

Join Tulane’s American Medical Women’s Association (TAMWA) for a guest speaker event with Dr. Jessica Shank, a Tulane alumna, Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics & Gynecology, and leader in cancer care at Tulane and LCMC Health.

Dr. Shank currently serves as Medical Director of the Tulane Cancer Center, Vice Chair of LCMC Health Oncology, Associate Director of Clinical Affairs for the Tulane Cancer Center, and Section Head of Gynecologic Oncology.

She will share her journey through medical school, residency, fellowship, and her career in gynecologic oncology, along with her experience in leadership, academic medicine, and cancer care. Dr. Shank will also offer insight and advice for students interested in medical school, women’s health, oncology, surgery, and physician leadership.

Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about her path in medicine and the many career opportunities within the field.
