Dr. Qiana Whitted is a Professor of English and the Director of African American Studies at Univeristy of South Carolina. She is the editor of Inks: The Journal of the Comics Studies Society, and author and editor of numerous books including EC Comics: Race, Shock, and Social Protest (Rutgers 2019).
