Our certified personal trainers will be using high-tech Body Script Optima equipment to give you a quick (3–5 minute) wellness screening that breaks down the real story behind your health — including body fat %, lean muscle mass, BMR, and more. You’ll walk away with a full body composition report and the chance to get personalized fitness tips from our team — either on the spot or in a one-on-one consult.

Each month features a brand-new fitness challenge where you can show off your strength, endurance, or stamina. Compete in divisions for a shot at the ultimate bragging rights, with your picture and name in lights on our rec center’s TV screens.

Step up to the bar and push your strength to new heights at Pull & Pulse—a one-day drop-in event combining a performance-based pull-up challenge with personalized wellness screenings. Designed to support full-body health, this event helps you test your muscular strength, receive tailored fitness insights, and take confident steps toward your wellness goals.
Whether you’re working toward your first pull-up or perfecting your form, this challenge is your opportunity to build power, boost confidence, and connect with the campus fitness community.
🔍 What’s Included:
💪 Pull-Up Performance Challenge
- Drop in anytime during the event to record your best effort
- Options based on ability:
– Max pull-ups in one set (max time allotted: 1min)
– Assisted pull-ups tracked with bands
- Personal training staff available for grip, form, and breathing coaching
- Performance logged individually for friendly competition
🩺 Wellness Screening
- Body composition analysis (BMI, body fat %, muscle mass, etc.)
- Postural alignment assessment, especially shoulders and upper back
- Mobility and flexibility screening for shoulders and thoracic spine
- Personalized feedback and improvement strategies from fitness pros
